Leading Contractors To Take Possession Of The 18-Units Classroom Block At Sakafia And Nurul- Ameen
Yesterday, as the Municipal Chief Executive for Asokore Mampong, I had the honour of leading our two dedicated contractors to take possession of the sites for the construction of one 18-unit classroom block eachunder the GETFund project at Sakafiya Islamic Senior High School and Nurul-Ameen Senior High School. This marks another important step forward in expanding access to quality education for our young people in the municipality.
I wish to express my profound gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, for his unwavering commitment to prioritising the education sector. Under his visionary leadership, we are witnessing renewed investments in infrastructure that will support and accelerate the development of education across our communities, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
I also extend sincere thanks to the Honourable Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, for his tireless support and dedication in making these critical projects a reality. His guidance and advocacy have been instrumental in bringing these resources to our municipality.
My appreciation equally goes to the Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency, who also serves as Ghana’s Minister for the Interior and National Security. His continuous advocacy, strong leadership, and relentless efforts have played a pivotal role in attracting meaningful development to Asokore Mampong Municipality. We are truly grateful for his representation and commitment to our people.
To the good people of Asokore Mampong, let me assure you of my personal commitment — and that of the entire assembly — to support, monitor closely, and ensure the timely and quality delivery of these two vital projects. We will work diligently every step of the way so that our students can benefit from modern, conducive learning environments without delay.
Under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama and his **Reset Agenda**, this government is here to reset Ghana for the better — to rebuild our institutions, restore hope, and make life meaningfully better for every citizen, regardless of background or location. Together, we are building a Ghana where education empowers our youth, drives progress, and secures a brighter future for all.
