INSPECTION OF ONGOING PROJECTS AWARDED LAST YEAR

On Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, I, together with the Municipal Management team, conducted an inspection of selected projects awarded in the previous year. The purpose of the exercise was to assess the progress of work, engage contractors on-site, and listen to any challenges they are facing to ensure timely resolution and successful completion of the projects within the stipulated contract period.

The inspection tour commenced at Sakafia Senior High School and continued to Asokore Mampong R/C School, Buobai CHIPS, Sawaba (Adenyase) CHIPS Compound, Aboabo Middle ‘B’, and finally the New Zongo CHIPS Compound.

At each site, we interacted extensively with the contractors to obtain a fair assessment of work progress and to ascertain their ability to meet the contractual timelines. The contractors gave positive assurances of their commitment and capacity to complete the projects within the agreed schedules.

The Municipal Assembly remains committed to monitoring all ongoing projects to ensure quality delivery and value for money for the benefit of our communities.
